Chef Deepa Shridhar is a South Indian immigrant with over 11 years of culinary experience. Her cuisine transforms ingredients from the farm’s harvests into an incredible one-of-a-kind four-course menu by creating seasonal dishes that resonate with both her South Indian and Texan cultural identities.
A Community-Centric Mission
More than just an event space or a farm – The Training Kitchen is a South Austin non-profit dedicated to fostering a sense of belonging in our community. We focus on educating and empowering local families with limited financial access, and our 1.5-acre micro-farm serves as a hub of regeneration for soil, systems, and community.

Proceeds from the event are divided equally between Chef Deepa and The Training Kitchen, supporting community-driven programs. Every meal shared at our table extends its impact far beyond the last bite.
A menu paying homage to the diaspora, the many immigrant families who helped shape my American lens when I first came to this country. Menu is subject to change, and can accommodate vegan, vegetarian, DF, GF. 80% percent of the produce is grown directly and sourced from The Training Kitchen.
